Hon. Shri Y.D.Mane (Anna) was born & brought up in the fatherhood of Late. Shri. Dinkarrao Ramchandra Mane Alias Dada. The reputed teacher and disciplinarian, a staunch activist of Satyashodhak Movement started by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.

         Hon. Shri Anna, a teacher at bones, and active politician for sometimes, a social reformer, an entrepreneur by birth an educationist, a great visionary is the founder of the Kagal Education Society Graduated from the coveted Ferguson College, Pune the took up teaching as a areer in which he chanced to work with reputed scientist Dr.Vasant Govarikar. But his spirit of entrepreneurship made him give up teaching and laydown foundation of the Kagal Education Society.

Health is a fundamental human right. Maintenance of optimum level of health entails individual as well as social responsibility. However health can never be adequately protected by health services without active involvement of the community.

The national rural health mission has been launched by Govt, of India April. 2005- 2012 to bring about improvement in health system and health status of the people specially these who live in rural areas of the country: NRHM objectives emphasizes on services addressing women and children health sanitation, immunization prevention and control of communicable disease including locally

mic disease assessing to integrated comprehensive primary health care promotion of health population stabilization gender and demographic balance ect. Local conditions and to meet local needs.

A.N.M. play major role in improvement of rural health care delivery system the millennium development goals of NRHM can be achieved with active work and their involvement in community. She should be sensitive and accountable to meet the health needs of the community. She should be able to provide accessible, equitable, affordable, and quality, health care, ANM can act as a catalyst for promoting inters sect oral convergence in primitive and preventive health care.

INC has revised ANM curriculum which intends to prepare skilled and effective female health workers to achieve the goals of National RURAL health mission which aims at bringing about dramatic improvement in the health system and health status of the country. ANM in community health skills to practice basic health care at a defined level of proficiency in accordance with NRHM Maharashtra Nursing Council is implementing this syllabus from august 2008 thought the state.

The purpose of the ANM/FHW course is to prepare an ANM to function at community level/village with specific skills to fulfill the health needs of the community. She will be an active link between the community and the health care system.

The Y.D. MANE Institute of Nursing is an Affiliated institute under the umbrella of MNC, MSBPNE, & INC. Established in 2008 by Late Shri. Y.D. MANE Founder Secretary,KES. Our school is a educational institute providing education & training to become a fully qualified Nurse.

Aim – The aim of the institute is to provide programs representative of fundamental & current professional interest concerns to nursing students.and development of the whole person, including the professional role.

Graduated from the coveted Ferguson College, Pune, he took up teaching as a career in which he ahanced to work with the reputed scientist Dr. Vasnt Govarikar. But his spirit of entrepreneurship made him give up teaching and lay down foundation of the Kagal Education Society.
As an active politician he assumed the post of president at Taluka Congress Committee and then became the President of Kagal Muncipal Council.. A few of his decisions during the small tenure as president served as landmark in the all round development of town of kagal.
His yearing for education made him quite active politics and devote himself fully to the cause of education. He undertook different educational endeavors with the Commutment to provide education to student from rural area of the Kagal. Particularly he inclined to impart job oriented Courses to students to earn their livelihood for self reliance. Consequently, he established Socio-agricultural and educational institutions of national importance and repute.
However, it is noteworthy that he struggled hard to establish the institutions devoid of any substantial financial support from outside. His struggle is an indication of his determined spirit and commitment to the cause of socio-economic and educational advancement of the society.
His personal life was also an ideal example of ‘simple living’ He was a farmer and agriculturist by nstinct and consequently he incessantly made experiments in agricultuire.
KES is an eloquent testimony to the vision, motivation and labour of honorable Shri Y.D.Mane. His zeal, dedication and infinite energy always inspire and motivate others to collective efforts. This is the spirit of Shri. Y.D.Mane, which in turn has become the Spirit of KES.
